I’m a Toronto-born,UK-based ideas person. An extremely driven individual, who is entrepreneurial, a bit of a rebel (a lot of a rebel), and a MAJOR risk taker. I am a very forward thinker, so is keen to learn more and surround myself around people who are inspired and inspiring. If you’re looking for a disruptive thinker, who is passionate about The Internet, social media and all things innovation, then here I am. I have taken risks, some have worked, others not so much, but they have contributed to my experience and for that I am thankful.
As a social media person, I am all about Big-X campaigns and content creation. I have worked with big brands. I have experience using tools such as Sprinklr, VICO, Sysomos – all that insights type of stuff. I have key relationships with experts at all the latest social media platforms and I am self-taught when it comes to paid social media advertising and organic content. I know my stuff, especially when it comes to social. It has taken some time to get here, but I got here in the end.
As a writer my work has appeared in the print and online editions for a wide range of popular consumer titles including Complex (Online), VIBE, L’Uomo Vogue, Dazed & Confused, Harper’s Bazaar UK (Online), ELLECanada.com, Interview and CLASH. My areas of expertise are short and long-form features covering hip-hop culture and high-end fashion; I’ve interviewed a plethora of figures in both industries. I have a sharp eye (and ear) for trends and budding, up-and-coming talent be it in music or fashion.
I very taken by augmented reality, virtual reality, hyper-reality, and the ultimate social experience, and brand messaging from a social media perspective. I have a vast, complex mind, I am heavily into contemporary culture, politics and well-being.
To put it simply, I am a Social Media junkie – or an Internet Junkie, or perhaps just a junkie for information.
